Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Puntr ("Puntr", "we", "us"), a sports-prediction game you play with friends. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Each section below opens with a plain-English TL;DR. The summary is not the contract - the full text under it is.

1 · Community standards: zero tolerance for objectionable content

TL;DRChat and DMs are zero-tolerance for harassment, hate, sexual or violent content, illegal content, and spam.

Puntr includes chat and direct messages between members. We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You agree that you will not post, send, or share any content that is:

harassing, bullying, threatening, hateful, or abusive towards any person;
discriminatory or demeaning on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
sexually explicit, obscene, or pornographic;
violent, or that promotes self-harm or harm to others;
illegal, or that infringes anyone else's rights;
spam, scams, or deceptive content.

There is no tolerance for this content or for abusive users. We may remove any content and suspend or permanently remove any user who breaks these rules, at our discretion and without notice.

2 · Reporting and blocking

TL;DRReport or block any message or member. We act on abuse within 24 hours.

Every message in Puntr can be reported, and you can block any other user so you no longer see their messages. To report content, use the "Report" action on a message; to block someone, use the "Block" action on their message. You can also contact us at hello@puntr.app.

We review reports and act on objectionable content and abusive users within 24 hours, including by removing the content and ejecting the user who provided it.

3 · Your account

TL;DROne account, kept secure, with accurate details.

You are responsible for your account and for everything posted from it. Keep your login details secure. You must be old enough to use the Service in your country and provide accurate information.

4 · Acceptable use

TL;DRDon't break it, don't break the law, don't impersonate anyone.

Don't misuse the Service: no attempting to break, overload, or reverse engineer it; no using it to break the law; no impersonating others; and no collecting other users' information without consent.

5 · No betting or money handling

TL;DRPuntr never takes bets or holds money. Private arrangements are between players.

Puntr is a free game for entertainment. Puntr does not accept bets, hold funds, or pay out prizes. Any private arrangement between players is solely between those players and has nothing to do with Puntr.

6 · Content you post

TL;DRYou own what you post; you give us a licence to show it in the app.

You keep ownership of what you post, but you grant us a licence to host and display it within the Service so the game and chat work. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to post it.

7 · Termination

TL;DRBreach these Terms and we can suspend you. You can leave at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the Account screen.

8 · Disclaimers and liability

TL;DRThe Service is provided as-is. Nothing here limits your rights under consumer law.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

9 · Changes

TL;DRWe may update these Terms. Material changes bump the date above and may need your fresh agreement.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, ask you to accept the new Terms.
